In this tutorial I show you the basic plain weave to get you started weaving using various yarns from double knit, Chunky and bulky art yarn.

Plain Weave: Plain weave is the most basic weaving technique, yet when it is used with different textured Yarns and Fibres it creates a beautiful weaving. In plain weave the Warp ( fixed to loom) and Weft Threads ( yarn on needle or stick shuttle )  cross at right angles, Each weft thread crosses the warp threads by going over one, then under the next, and so on.
